The hotel will offer 142 rooms including 125 rooms (between 26m ² and 30m ²) and 17 suites and junior suites ranging up to 60m ². The building is completely glazed. There is a natural light everywhere, especially on the junior suites. From the 7th floor (there are 10 levels), the hotel dominates Lille with an outstanding view over the city.
How did ou manage the buiding?
The ground floor houses the reception and the bar's called 777. On the first floor, you will open a restaurant called the large maps Hauts de Lille of fifty seats. The second floor offers a meeting area with 150m ² of plenary hall, six breakout rooms and a foyer area of 400m ². The 3rd to the 9th floor, there are accommodations.
Did you organise a decoration theme to your new hotel?
That's classy, cozy, and contemporary. We used Corian, a material all white that dominates the entire hotel. The rooms are green almond and chocolate or plum and beige. A peculiarity is the dressing that passes through both the bedroom and the bathroom.
The restaurant will be managed by Michel Vico?
Yes, he is the executive chef of the complex (the complex of three restaurants). Hauts de Lille, it overlooks the reception, it seems to be in the bow of a boat.
You announce a 5 star in Lille , the second 5 star of Lille after the Hermitage Gantois. What is your idea?
We are opening the hotel and as the provisional rankings don’t exist anymore, it opens as a 5 star because it is our position. The audit must confirm that but the file is launched.
What are the advantages of a 5 star?
Our hotel has facilities for disabled guests, with a adapted reception. The building is soundproof. The facade is doubled, what we used to call a double skin: 50 cm between the two glass spaces.
Regarding services, there is a 24/24 room service, broadband Internet, flat screen 32 inches, king size beds (1.80 m or 2m), air conditioning, and beyond that, a service that meets with this kind of establishment.
How many people will work in the hotel?
It would be about fifty, mostly drawn from the Barrière group. There were also some new hires through the local mission.
