Slot Survivor is one of the most popular slot machine promotions on the internet and Red Flush Casino and Casino La Vida just announced the return of this amazing promotion at their online casino sites. This year’s tournament will start in March 2012 and will be the biggest Slot Survivor tournament that has ever been hosted.
There is an amazing prize pool of $150,000 which is much bigger than any of the previous Slot Survivor jackpots. This slot machine event has been around since 2008 and has been very popular amongst the players on the site.
There are several other prizes to be won like for example a trip to the famous Grand Prix in Monaco. This trip alone is worth about $20,000. The slot survivor tournament encourages the players to earn as many points as possible at the slot machines at the casinos. There will then be a leaderboard and the players that accumulated the most points will get a prize.

Bodog.com domain name seized by US authorities
The US Department of Homeland Security has seized the Bodog.com domain name, despite it not being commercially active anywhere in the world for almost a year.
BodogBrand confirmed the news via email this morning, “The BodogBrand became aware late on 27th February that the domain Bodog.com had been seized by US Homeland Security. This domain is not currently in use by the BodogBrand or any Brand Licensee and has not been in use since the Morris Mohawk Gaming Group (MMGG) switched its operations from Bodog.com to Bodog.eu in May 2011.”
“The BodogBrand.com revoked its licensing agreement with Morris Mohawk Gaming Group (MMGG) on December 15th 2011 after publicly stating it would do so in July 2011. It is equally important to state that Bodog UK, Bodog Europe and Bodog Asia have never taken bets from the US.”
BodogBrand confirmed that it “is currently consulting with its legal advisors with a view to having the domain returned.”
The Bodog.co.uk and Bodog.eu sites are unaffected.

World Poker Tour Launch Charitable Foundation
The World Poker Tour has launched a charitable organisation, the WPT Foundation, to “influence positive change in the world”.
Dealing with such issues as human rights, genocide and starvation, the foundation's charitable partners will include Enough Project, Conservation International and World Central Kitchen.
Money will be raised by organising a series of poker tournaments called 'WTP Playing for a Better World'. The tournaments will see poker pros and celebrities playing together to raise money for charitable causes.
The first event will begin on March 11th at the SLS Beverly Hills Hotel. Tickets and Raffle tickets are on sale at $500 and around $100 respectively at the charities website wptfoundation.org. Raffle prizes include private poker lessons with a top pro, tickets to a WPT cruise, a helicopter tour of Los Angeles, and going to an NFL game alongside the Fox Sports film crew.
WPT has also promised to add an initial $100 000 to the foundation to give it a boost.
“World Poker Tour has always been dedicated to supporting charitable causes, but by establishing WPT Foundation we are making a deep, lasting commitment to philanthropy the likes of which the poker world has not seen before.” said WPT CEO Steve Heller
